The MODULA control unit is designed to detect flammable and toxic gases. Easy installation, intuitive setup and flexible scaling to meet customer gas safety system needs. The modular design makes it easy to mount the device on a standard DIN rail.
The MODULA unit is specially designed for use in construction and industry.
The MODULA device complies with the EN50545-1 standard for the detection of toxic gases in parking lots and tunnels.
The devices are available in three configurations MODULA 4, MODULA 8, MODULA 40 and MODULA 128 for 4, 8, 40 and 128 gas sensors.
The control unit is designed to give light and sound signals when the set threshold values are exceeded, and to display the current concentration of the controlled gas on the liquid crystal display, to signal sensor failures and the end of their operation.
Alarm status: Weather - Alarm 1 - Alarm 2 - Alarm 3.
The sensors connected to the device are designed to generate an electrical analog signal in the range of 4-20 mA and a digital signal for the RS-485 interface, proportional to the concentration of the controlled gas.
The following BELT DETECTION sensors are suitable for the control unit:
WPD/CAL analog sensors are wall-mounted devices with a catalytic sensor designed to detect elevated concentrations of combustible gases.
WPD/ECL analog sensors are wall-mounted devices with a removable electrochemical sensor designed to detect elevated concentrations of toxic gases.
ADM/CAL analog sensors are wall units with a catalytic sensor designed to detect elevated concentrations of combustible gases.
The WPD24L/C3 analog sensors are wall units with a removable electrochemical sensor for detecting elevated carbon monoxide levels.
Digital WPDS sensors are wall-mounted devices with a catalytic or electrochemical sensor designed to detect elevated concentrations of flammable and carbon monoxide gases.
The number of connected analog sensors - up to eight, connected digital - up to thirty-two.
To connect external actuators (solenoid valves, sound and light alarms, etc.), electromagnetic relays are built into the control unit.
The main area of application of alarm devices is industrial premises, boiler rooms, administrative and residential sectors.
